Microsoft is discontinuing Publisher on 1 October 2026
08/03/2026From 1 October, you will no longer have access to the Publisher app. Publisher files can no longer be opened or edited after that date. Please convert any important .pub files beforehand.
Microsoft does not offer a successor application to Publisher. Instead, Microsoft recommends first converting existing .pub files to PDF files and then, if necessary, exporting them to a supported format such as Word or Excel.
Please therefore check your saved Publisher files and convert important documents well in advance of the deadline so that you can continue to access and edit them.
