New design of the Zoom web portal
08/03/2026Zoom is comprehensively revamping the user interface of its web portal. Starting August 26, 2026, the new web interface will be rolled out as the default, replacing the previous view.
The goal of this change is to provide clearer navigation and faster access to frequently used features. The update affects all Zoom users, particularly those accessing Zoom via a web browser. While the features themselves remain largely unchanged, many menu items have been relocated. For instance, the home page features a new layout that aligns more closely with the Zoom desktop application. Additionally, the previous left-hand navigation bar is being replaced by a new application menu (often referred to as the "waffle menu") located at the top of the interface. Personal settings and administrative functions will now be accessible via the profile menu.
Key changes at a glance:
- New, streamlined home page with quick access to meetings
- Simplified navigation via a central header
- New product menu for switching between Zoom services
- Redesigned profile menu separating personal settings from administrative functions
- Settings remain available but are located elsewhere in the menu system
