Adobe licenses at the University of Würzburg

The University of Würzburg has entered into a framework agreement to purchase licenses for the use of Adobe Creative Cloud Pro.

Licenses and ordering

Employees of the University of Würzburg can purchase licenses for Adobe Creative Cloud via the WebShop.

The item in the WebShop includes the use of all locally installable Creative Cloud programs incl. Adobe Fonts - cloud services cannot be used.

Acrobat Pro is not provided as a free standalone product. To use Acrobat Pro, a Creative Cloud license must also be ordered through the WebShop.

These are named-user licenses, which means that a separate license must be ordered for each person.

Please refer to the item descriptions in the WebShop for terms and pricing.

Activation

An individual Adobe user account ("Adobe Federated ID") is required to activate the license.

When ordering in the WebShop, the user name of the JMU account of the person to whom the license is to be assigned must be specified. An individual Adobe user account is then automatically created for this person, which can be used to download and activate the Adobe programs.

The Adobe user account credentials are identical to the Microsoft 365 credentials:
For JMU employees and adjunct faculty, the username is the same as the university mail address, as long as it ends in @uni-wuerzburg.de. However, if the mail address has a domain such as. @jura.uni-wuerzburg.de or @physics.uni-wuerzburg.de, the account is <JMU-Account>@uni-wuerzburg.de (e.g. sap12xx@uni-wuerzburg.de).

The password is that of your JMU account; it is the same as the one you use to log in to the mail program, WueCampus, etc.
