WueTeams
Attention:
the product Vibe is not being further developed by the manufacturer OpenText and is currently End of Life in February 2027.
WueTeams will still be available for some time. However, new projects should be integrated into bwSync&Share or BayernCollab from the outset to avoid a costly migration at a later date.
WueTeams: Team collaboration with "Novell Vibe"
The data centre operates the"Novell Vibe" software, which is designed for virtual team collaboration.
In addition, WueTeams is also a suitable platform for an access-protected intranet area for your organisation.

Here is an overview of all Vibe features at Novell. The Novell "Vibe onPrem" resources can also help you, especially the Open Videos and the instructions at Novell.
Activation
University employees can generally use WueTeams without explicit authorisation. Only if the registration fails, please activate your account afterwards.
All other users (students, guests, functional accounts) must be activated once:
- log in to the user portal with your user name
- select Available applications
- click on [View] for the request WueTeams: Activation
- Activate Activate WueTeams?
- click on [Submit]
External co-operation partners without a JMU account can be activated for WueTeams by university employees. Please contact the IT support.
Support
- We recommend the local Vibe introduction as a WueTeams introduction. Activation required.
- We offer training courses on WueTeams in our course programme at irregular intervals.
