URL Shortener

If, for example, you want a short URL to a website in your area such as https://go.uniwue.de/itkurse for a conference/publication, then simply enter it yourself.

All university and hospital employees can do this themselves at https://go.uniwue.de/admin.

Please note

• The service is only intended for short URLs on JMU websites, not for shortening URLs on external websites.
• A random short URL is generated by default. If you prefer to use a specific name, this is also possible. However, please note that you are not alone at the university. If the short name is not uniquely relevant only for you/your department, use a department abbreviation in front of your short URL, for example. For example, "Office of the Dean" exists 10 times at the university, so a short URL "/dekanat" must not be used.
