Please note:
- To be able to use Exchange/Outlook with IMAP (e.g. for Thunderbird under Linux), IMAP access must first be activated via the user portal (Applications-> Exchange Mailbox).
- Outlook 365 is the recommended e-mail programme under Windows. This automatically configures itself with the Exchange server via autodiscovery using your email address. This uses the Outlook protocol; it is not necessary to activate and set up IMAP.
- Outlook 365 or Apple Mail is the recommended email programme for macOS. This automatically configures itself with the Exchange server via autodiscovery using your email address. This uses the EWS protocol; it is not necessary to activate and set up IMAP. You should therefore use the "Microsoft Exchange" account type under Apple Mail
