Junk e-mail treatment
Emails classified as Trojans/malware
- Incoming emails that are classified as Trojans are immediately discarded.
- The potential recipient is informed of this by a notification in the junk folder.
Emails classified as spam
- Incoming emails that are classified as spam are marked with a spam alert in the mail header (X-Spam-Alert: YES) and sent to the recipient "packaged" as an attachment in a new e-mail.
- For Exchange mailboxes:
the e-mails are automatically moved to the junk e-mail folder.
If you suspect that an e-mail has been incorrectly classified as spam, you can delete it within 30 days from the junk folder to the inbox. to the inbox within 30 days. Otherwise the e-mail will be deleted automatically after 30 days.
